Lady GaGa(damn)

I can remember a time when Madonna wanted to make some noise on the scene and decided to wear a souped up wedding dress and 'boy toy' belt buckle. People were in oooo and ahhhh. But I really need to evaluate how times have changed in the world of fashion shock value. Lady GaGa has entered freakville U.S.A. with the most odd displays of fashion carnage that have graced T.V. and print. I can't help but show this:



By now, this is old hat but I cant help to laugh until I pee a little. After I cleared the tears from my eyes I thought of a few things. I understand that it is getting harder and harder to shock American viewers and I realize that bad press is good press because it keeps you in the public eye. Upon even deeper thought, maybe shes that much of an artist to where, in her eyes, this is an extremely bold try at self expression. Then the realism kicks in. There is such a thing as over compensating for lack of something else. Now, I'm not saying shes not beautiful, because she is. I'm not saying she is talentless, because she is great. What I am saying is...When is the climax? When do we get to see a stripped down Lady GaGa? When do we see more of the real and less of the shock? Makes me wonder.




Only time will tell how far she is going to go with it. I know I'm enjoying the laughs. But I recommend a different approach for Lady GaGa. Lets see more sexy and less tart. More allure and less aloof. More of your soft side with less stuffed animals. ;)

Boycott the Empire! (Waist)

Empire Waist, Definition: A type of dress or top where the waist line is raised above the natural waistline, sometimes as high as right below the bust. Best on slender-on-top or petite figures, the empire dress creates the illusion of length and camouflages a bottom-heavy figure or thick waist.

OK, Here is what I don't get. I have observed many different styles of ladies fashion in my day. I have seen the beautiful and sumptuous ladies of Playboy magazine in their cosmic slut wear. I have seen the Cosmo models in the latest "Does this make me look fat?" wear and finally I have seen the everyday beauty of ladies who know how to dress out of sheer instinct and always seem to look their best. So I ask this. Why do woman wear empire waists? the only people I've seen pull it off is someone who is size 0 and 12 years old. I have made the mistake a few times of asking if someone was pregnant. That's how I found out what it was called! Call me crazy, but what ever happened to the fashion forward? The stand on your car and shout to the heavens, "I will not stand for ugly clothes!". I want to start a Boycott the Empire campaign! Let's not let the fashion world make the same mistake as low cut jeans! I'm tired of seeing plumbers crack every time a woman drops her cellphone!

If I am acting like a typical man and I am wrong, (Not uncommon) then I need to be educated, ladies. I need some thoughts and would love to be swayed in the direction of understanding.

As you know MIAMI has become my second home...when I get to work, party in enjoy spending times in homes like this Waterfront Mediterranean Estate it only makes me want a piece of property as such. I don't know how many faces I would have to put makeup on to afford any of David Solomon properties but...can't a girl dream.

Hey ladies and Gents. Tis I, Everson Grey. Let me introduce myself and give you a basic outlook of how my mind works in the world of fashion. I am an everyday Joe who likes things such as beer, cars, women, music and sports. I am the type of guy who will wear an NFL jersey every Sunday until football season is over and them move on to a backwards hat and a Red Sox jersey for summer. Flashy? No. But I have a good eye for what I think is top notch in the world of everyday Joes. For instance, I consider myself to be a bit of a golfer. Most of my pals don't but that's another story. I go through sunglasses like underwear when it comes to finding the right pair to knock out the glare. BUT! I have finally struck gold.

Monday Photo Shoot: The LOVE Famliy

Today I had a photo shoot with an amazing family...THE LOVE'S. Bishop Lester Love & Pastor Fran Love called me to do their makeup for a photo shoot for a gospel magazine. Sorry guys but I don't remember the name of the magazine. The pics that was taken will also be used for other things that Bishop Love may need for next year like billboards and flyer's.

Daniel was the photographer, Benny was the coordinator and Kenneth Grant & Ashley Jones was in charge of hair. And of course MOI took care of makeup. Pastor Fran got two makeup looks and I kept the girls pretty much the same just changed Joy makeup a little.

It was a great shoot can't wait to see the professional pics but below are a few fun shots from my iPHONE.
