Fall Fashion, Are You Ready

Boarding a plane for New York in less than a month for New York Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, I get a feeling of déjà vu (like wasn’t I just here). It seems that I will be enjoying this season’s flirty favorites while taking in next year’s obsessions. With that in mind, let’s walk through the runways dressing room closets and indulge in the glamxurious –ness of it all.

Neutral and camels will drape many bodies this fall. It doesn’t matter if it’s conservative for work or glamorous for a social party. Designers found many playful ways to showcase cuts with this quiet and classic color. It may be a muted color but will always make a statement. (As seen at Diane Von Furstenberg and Preen)

The basic white and black combo is always exaggerated, high drama and never boring. Designers turned up the volume with architectural interest like this white button down. (As seen at Donna Karan pictured left)

The outdoor girl received a revamping by taking her strappy boots to glam by wearing fur. This ultra posh collection paired vertiginous glamour with wilderness and whimsy. (As seen at Michael Kors pictured right)

Vibrant red was a popular color on the runway for many designers. This red coat is indulgent and pampered but powerful and works for day or evening. (As seen at Carolina Herrera pictured left)

Trousers are redefined in full force. Many women will be able to wear this masculine look ladylike with an elegance and style imagining Katherine Hepburn visiting with Victoria Beckham. (As seen at Elie Tahari pictured right.)

Strong confident women are what designers had in mind when designing these tailored coats. Opulence never looked so good. Seemingly crafted for city nightlife, this outerwear drapes upon the figure like a skin and leaves wonderment. Many ladies will be seen strutting the streets this season in these fabulous luxe coats.
