THE BENTLEY CONTINENTAL:Green Luxury

2010 Bentley at Black Tie Stiletto Blog The 2010 Bentley Continental is not only a dream car but a green car? With a struggling economy, luxury cars are an endangered species. A species that is still wanted and needed, after all without luxury cars, everything is a Corolla. Yikes! Bentley following suit with other car makers, learned what better way to keep luxury alive than to align it with today's values and make it a responsible $200,00 car. Ummm! I still want one, green or not green, and after you get a glimpse of these pics, you will too.

FYI for the green at heart:

The Continental Supersports is capable of running on either petrol or E85 biofuel, or any combination of the two. E85 biofuel can offer a reduction of up to 70 percent in CO2 emissions on a "well-to-wheel" basis, which is a measurement of a fuel's net CO2 contribution to the atmosphere, not just tailpipe emissions. It includes refinement, distillation and transport of the fuel. The fuel supply system detects the blending ratio of the fuel in the tank and ensures that power and torque remain constant regardless of the ratio of petrol to biofuel.
